A lot happened last week, and there's still a lot more to do in the coming weeks! We moved, and with the help of Anton, Nico, and Rien, we unloaded the moving van in Sweden and made a good start on furnishing our new home. Meanwhile, we formally handed over our house in Ede, our house here in Sweden, and we met Sam and Gijs at school.

We have big plans for our land and the house. Right now, however, we're mainly busy unpacking moving boxes and furnishing the house, with all the chores that entails: hanging lamps, customizing and hanging shelves, figuring out how the heating works (it was -16 degrees Celsius here last night...), and in the meantime, organizing the household, ensuring everyone has a place to sleep and food, and doing the first loads of laundry.

We have a lot to do, and even though we don't officially have a daily job, it feels like we're running out of time to get everything organized. The greenhouse, chicken coop, and guest house are priorities, but the question is when we'll get around to it.

But what a beautiful place we have here! There's so much potential! We're enjoying walking through the snow outside, the boys have found the long skids, and dozens of great tits, blue tits, and nuthatches are sitting outside our window, emptying the birdhouse. Judging by the tracks, there are plenty of hares and foxes roaming our field.

We've started our life in Sweden, and it's a wonderful and exciting adventure!
